Goal: Increase brand awareness by teaming up with a fast-growing startup
In June 2012, both Liquid Courage Flasks and Dollar Shave Club were startups looking to increase awareness of their brands. As a client of Statement23, Liquid Courage teamed up with Dollar Shave Club to run a giveaway on the company’s blog. Users were asked to post their best shaving photo to Instagram with #IWantThatFlask, which was promoted across both company’s social platforms. Dollar Shave Club saw a spike in blog visits, while Liquid Courage had an above-average increase in new Instagram followers and Facebook fans.
